今天就是PSP-3000的发售的日子了，在此之前国外的一些牛逼媒体已经拿到了PSP3000+《瑞奇与叮当》游戏套装。这是他们的开箱照，可是首次PSP300的开箱照哟。 与以前的版本相比,PSP3000硬件改进特点如下：
在PSP标志左侧于加入了内置麦克风
UMD舱上的钢圈变细了;
以前的HOME按键改为了Playstation的标示。
PSP3000的屏幕会更亮，对比度更高，响应速度会更快，并且拥有抗反射技术，使得用户可以在明亮的室外更清晰的看到屏幕上的画面。
改掉了旧版本PSP2000仅能使用色差或D端子配合逐行扫描的电视输出画面的弊端。
PSP3000尺寸为169.4×18.6×71.4 mm，重量为189g，与PSP2000完全没有变化。
最先上市的PSP3000主机发布三种颜色：神秘银、钢琴黑、珍珠白
